Back at CES 2024 earlier this year, Amazfit showed off the Helio Ring, its first ever smart ring. Ahead of an official announcement about a local launch, however, a local retailer seems to have jumped the gun and listed the price of the wearable, just days after teasing it.
According to retailer Goldblitz’s listing on Shopee, the Helio Ring will be available with a price tag of RM1,399. Just like in other markets, it will be offered in three sizes, namely sizes 8, 10, and 12. It is unknown when it will officially be launched here by the brand, but given this premature listing, we can expect it to be announced soon.
The ring is made out of a titanium alloy and weighs just four grams with a thickness of 2.6mm. It is rated to be water resistant up to 10 ATM and charges wirelessly with up to four days of battery life. That being said, the battery capacity gets bigger when moving up ring sizes, so it is unclear if the usage time varies by the size that you choose.
The Helio Ring is equipped with a BioTracker PPG heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, an Electrodermal Activity (EDA) sensor, as well as a gyroscope and acceleration sensor. All these sensors are used to let users monitor their heart rate, blood-oxygen saturation levels, stress levels, and sleep quality.
