Logitech is commemorating the 10th anniversary of its G502 gaming mouse with the launch of a limited-edition aluminium version: the G502 X Plus AL. It retains the same functionality as the standard wireless G502 X but features an aluminium chassis with laser-etched markings, including a serial number ranging from 1 to 502.
The original wired version of the G502 is still available for purchase today, priced around US$50 (~RM209), while the G502 X, introduced in 2019, featured a wireless version equipped with Logitech’s Lightspeed technology. The G502 X Plus, released in 2022 and priced at US$160 (~RM669), included a 25K DPI sensor, RGB lighting, and wireless charging capabilities via Logitech’s Powerplay mousepad.

Now, if you’re hoping to score a unit at the local IT store, bad news. Logitech has opted not to sell the G502 X Plus Aluminium Edition directly. Instead, the mouse will only be obtained through awards, gifts, or partnerships with Logitech G and its affiliates.
The company has already given away 10 out of the 502 units via its official account on X, mainly to community members. For those who are eager to own one of these aluminium versions, following Logitech’s social media channels will be essential to stay updated on potential giveaways.
