It looks like Nothing isn’t done with 2024 just yet and is set to reveal another product soon. This is evident by the different teasers shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the earliest which is of a closeup shot of what appears to be a personal audio device. This time around, and for those keeping track, the upcoming product is represented by a white dragonfly and the Pokemon Flaaffy.
The device in question is believed to be a pair of wireless open-ear headphones akin to Huawei’s FreeClip and Shokz’ OpenFit. Further evidence of this was discovered by 91Mobiles, which referenced a recent listing on the UAE’s certification authority’s database of an unannounced Nothing product known as the Ear (Open). Apart from being labelled as a Bluetooth audio device, not much else is known about it at this time.
A quick search on SIRIM’s E-ComM database using the same model name revealed that the device has recently been greenlit earlier this month. With this, it is safe to assume that Nothing will launch the Ear (Open) in Malaysia either on the same day as its global reveal, or slightly much later.

However, the company has yet to confirm when it plans to officially unveil it. Based on the frequent teasing, it is likely that an announcement will be made sometime soon.
