Xiaomi has released a date for the grand unveiling of its 14T series. The Chinese brand already has page up for the launch, complete with a countdown timer, as well as the official launch date of 26 September.
Xiaomi is expected to launch two devices on the day, a 14T and 14T Pro. While nothing official has been named in regards to their specifications and pricing, there are already reports that are laying them bare.
Firstly, the Xiaomi 14T is expected to get 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and is expected to retail for €649 (~RM3,105). Meanwhile, the Pro variant of the phone have the same amount of RAM but double the storage capacity, and is expected to retail for €849 (~RM4,069). It is unclear if Xiaomi plans on releasing multiple SKUs with different memory and storage configurations.
Underneath the hood, non-Pro model is expected to run with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra, while the 14T Pro should get the Dimensity 9300+. Regardless of chipset, both devices will reportedly be sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
As for the cameras, the 14T should be fitted with a Sony IMX906 1/1.56″ wide, a 50MP telephoto with 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom, and a12MP ultrawide. The primary sensor of the Pro model will be will larger at 1/1.31″ and using a Light Fusion 900 sensor with 2x “optical equivalent” zoom.
The only details missing now are local availability and pricing. We’re just going to have to wait until the launch date itself.
