AMD has very quietly launched its Radeon RX 7800M discrete GPU for laptops. It should be made clear that there has been no official announcement of the GPU, with only the official product page serving as evidence of its existence.
As with other Radeon RX 7000M GPUs, the 7800M is based on the RDNA3, Navi 32 specifically. Specs-wise, the GPU gets 60 Compute Units (CUs), 28.1 billion transistors, a game boost of 2145MHz, and TGP of up to 180W.

Other specs of the 7800M include up to 12GB GDDR6 with memory speeds of 18Gbps and a memory bandwidth of up to 432GB/s, a 192-bit memory bus, and an AMD Infinity Cache of 48Mb, and not 64MB.
As for its real-world performance initial leaks and reports suggests that the discrete GPU is more powerful than an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU, although it isn’t clear if that is with or without ray-tracing active.
And if you’re wondering where and when we will see the 7800M in action, there is a very real possibility that the GPU could only launch for a limited number of laptops or products.
