Huawei has officially launched the 2024 version of the MateBook D 14 in Malaysia. This is a refresh of the 2023 version that was quietly released last year, but aside from an updated CPU and the RM100 increase in the price tag, there does not seem to be much else of a difference.
The MateBook D 14 sports a 14-inch IPS display with a tall 16:10 aspect ratio as well as a peak brightness of 300 nits. It gets a metal chassis and weighs only 1.39kg, along with a thickness of 15.9mm. Underneath the chassis, you will find a 13th-gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor along with Intel UHD graphics paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
Powering the laptop is the same 56Wh battery supported by the 65W charger that comes in the box. Connectivity-wise, it is equipped with a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, alongside support for Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.
The MateBook D 14 (2024) is now available for purchase, retailing at RM3,299. While stocks last, the laptop even comes with a free backpack, wireless mouse, and Microsoft 365. You can find it on the brand’s website, Shopee store, and Lazada store.
