Alongside the Magic V3 foldable, HONOR has also introduced a new tablet in Malaysia called the MagicPad 2. It is the brand’s flagship tablet that comes with high-end specs as well as being packed with AI features.
The MagicPad 2 sports a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Underneath the chassis lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Its AI-powered features include background noise reduction, voice to text, real-time translation, handwriting beautification, and formula recognition.
Shipping with MagicOS 8.0, it also has some of the features found in the brand’s flagship smartphones, including Magic Portal, Magic Capsule, and Magic Ring. For video calls, the tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera, a 9MP front lens, three microphones, and a total of eight speakers. All this is powered by a 10,050mAh battery that supports 66W charging.
The MagicPad 2 retails at RM2,799 and is currently available on the company’s online store, while retail stores will start carrying it from 13 September 2024. From now until 12 September, purchases of the tablet come with a free bluetooth keyboard and Magic Pencil 3.
