The Honor Magic V3 officially launched globally today and along with it, the official pricing for the phone. As of this publication, the phone will retails at an SRP of RM6,999.
To quickly recap on the specs, the Magic V3 plays house to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC, 12GB RAM, and for the configuration that is coming to Malaysia, an internal storage capacity of 512GB. As for its displays, the cover uses an OLED panel that measures 6.43-inches, while the main display (read: the foldable display inside) is a 7.92-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. That, and they’re scratch resistant thanks to a nano-coating underlayer on both panels.
The main camera module is also one of star attractions of the Magic V3. The housing looks similar to one of Honor’s candybar Magic6 Pro, it’s a triple-camera island comprising a 50MP wide, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoo, and a 40MP ultrawide sensor. In our hands on, we found that the camera does relatively well, so long as there is ample lighting.
In conjunction with the announcement, those who preorder the Magic V3 between now and 12 September will receive the Honor 365-day Screen Protection, an Honor Watch 4, a Magic Pen, and the brand’s SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand, all worth RM2,896. Additionally, if you’re looking to sign up with porting over to CelcomDigi, the phone will be offered by the telco for RM113 a month via its Easy360 plan.
