Acer has released a teaser for upcoming Predator products that will be revealed during IFA 2024, which is currently taking place in Berlin this week. Although what’s shown are merely silhouettes for now, one particular device stands out.
The item in question is located on the left, just behind what appears to be a new laptop. What’s interesting about this mysterious product is that it resembles a handheld gaming device akin to Valve’s Steamdeck, ASUS’ ROG Ally, and so on. If true, this could mean that Acer might finally introduce its own take for this segment after years of shying away.

With little to work on currently, it’s hard to say what kind of design approach or features will this supposed Predator-branded handheld machine offer. Based on its silhouette, there’s a chance that it could feature removable controllers like the Nintendo Switch or Lenovo Legion Go. Whether it will be on par with the previously mentioned devices in terms of performance remains to be seen, however.
Whatever the case may be, we’ll only find out more when Acer fully unveils the device, along with other potential products during the event later today. On that note, the company has announced that its global press conference at IFA 2024 will commence at 8:30pm local time, and will be broadcasted live via its social media channels such as YouTube and Facebook.
