Infinix has officially launched the Zero 40, its newest value-driven mid-range smartphone. The phone comes in a single configuration with a total of three colour options, namely black, titanium, and violet.
The Zero 40 sports a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with curved edges, a whopping 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. For protection, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Underneath the chassis, you will find a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
On the imaging side, the new phone is equipped with a 108MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 50MP front snapper with autofocus. Backing it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and, unlike the earlier leaks, it actually supports 20W wireless charging, as well as bypass charging.
Regarding software, it ships with XOS based on Android 14, complete with its Folax AI assistant powered by Google’s Gemini. The OS also packs other AI tools including an AI eraser, an AI wallpaper generator, an AI sketch-to-illustration tool, and a built-in translator.
The Zero 40 retails with a price tag of RM1,699, available at authorised retail stores and the brand’s TikTok Shop store. Purchases come with a 365-day broken screen service, a gimbal stabiliser, and a magnetic powerbank.
