HONOR has announced that its latest foldable, the Magic V3, will be launching in Malaysia at the same time as its global debut at IFA 2024 in Berlin. The launch will be happening on 5 September 2024, with the livestream set to take place on the brand’s Facebook page at 8 PM.
The foldable was unveiled in China back in July, sporting a thinner profile along with a 7.92-inch inner display as well as a 6.43-inch cover screen. The main display uses an LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, while the outer screen has an OLED pnael with the same refresh rate but a higher peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
Under the hood, the Magic V3 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is powered by a 5,150mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the imaging side, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens.
Aside from the Magic V3, the launch will also see the global debut of the MagicPad 2 tablet and as well as the brand’s MagicBook Art 14 laptop.
