HMD seems to be relaunching the Pulse Pro in Malaysia, but this time, it feels more official. Previously, the phone was available on its Shopee store, but it was the global version shipped from China and it only came with a supplier warranty.
This time around, the Pulse Pro will come with a manufacturer warranty in Malaysia and a price cut. The entry-level device will retail at RM739 for the 8GB+256GB configuration, but the brand will not be selling the 6GB+128GB variant. It will be hitting shelves from 30 August 2024.
To jog your memory, the Pro sports a 6.65-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Unisoc T606 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh cell with support for 20W charging — the brand claims that the battery is easily replacable. Imaging-wise, it feature a 50MP main camera, a depth sensor, and a 50MP selfie snapper.
As for the Pulse Plus model, a representative confirmed that it will be coming soon. Additionally, the company will be relaunching the Skyline with a Malaysian warranty some time in September. To find out more, you can check out its website.
