If you have been on social media for the past couple of years, you have probably seen or heard of Loop earplugs. Well, eight years after its founding, the brand has finally expanded to Southeast Asia, making its debut in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
In case you are not familiar with it, Loop earplugs are earplugs that are meant for daily usage. Instead of completely blocking your hearing like with regular earplugs, these ones still let you hear your surroundings and people’s voices — it just reduces noise overall. In fact, some of the higher-end models even allow you to switch to different noise reduction levels mechanically, with the lowest setting allowing you to still easily have conversations while wearing the earplugs.
Yes, you heard that right, none of these earplugs have active noise cancellation, but rather, they work passively through the loop design, hence the name. It collection ranges from the Quiet 2, which retails for RM74.46 and offers a noise reduction of 24dB, all the way to the RM215.96 Switch that has three volume settings.
The company’s collection can be purchased on its website. It also offers multiple bundle deals starting from RM218 in case you want to buy multiple pairs.
