Western Digital recently released a line of SanDisk Pokémon-themed microSD storage cards as part of the company’s collaboration with The Pokémon Company International. Initially designed for the Nintendo Switch, the cards basically allow users to add games to their libraries instead of having to download, re-download, and delete games to make more space.
The SanDisk microSD Pokémon edition comes in three different models with three different storage options. This includes the 1TB Snorlax microSD model, the 512GB Gengar microSD model, and the 256GB Pikachu microSD model. The cards have up to 100MB/s reading speed and up to 90MB/s writing speed.
The Pokémon SanDisk microSD cards are now available on the Western Digital online store, and the cards are priced accordingly with its storage capacity. The 1TB Snorlax microSD card comes in at US$129.99 (~RM569), the 512GB Gengar model at US$54.99 (~RM240), and the 256GB Pikachu model at US$32.99 (~RM144). At the time of writing this, we do not know the local availability and pricing.
