The OnePlus Nord 4 will be launching in Malaysia in a couple of days, with the phone succeeding the Nord 3 as the brand’s top smartphone in the mid-range segment. As we already knew that the upcoming device will feature improved specs, it is no surprise that it will also come with a significantly higher price tag compared to its predecessor.
According to a customer service representative of OPPO’s experience store at Aeon Permas, Johor, the Nord 4 will get a price tag of RM2,599. Additionally, according to a listing by a retailer, the phone will come in a single variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, double that of the Nord 3.
Clad in a metal unibody design, the mid-ranger is fitted with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and a local peak brightness of 2,150 nits. Under the hood, the phone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset.
For imaging, it is equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP selfie snapper. It is powered by a larger 5,500mAh battery that supports a faster charging speed of 100W. Durability-wise, it has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
[UPDATE: 10:18 AM, 23 August 2024] The Nord 4 is now officially available on OnePlus’ Shopee store.
