While it has taken a little over a month, OnePlus is finally bringing over the Nord 4 to Malaysia. The mid-ranger was launched back in July, succeeding the Nord 3 with a Qualcomm chipset, a metal unibody design, a brighter display, a bigger battery, and faster charging.
The Nord 4 has been listed on the brand’s Shopee store with a launch date of 23 August 2024. According to a retailer, the phone will come in three colour options — namely black, green, and silver — and will be offered in a single variant that comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Spec-wise, the phone sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and a local peak brightness of 2,150 nits. Internally, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor. For protection, it is equipped with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as Aqua Touch technology that apparently lets you use the screen even when it is wet.
On the optics side, the mid-ranger features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP fixed-focus selfie shooter. Backing it is a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W charging.
