Red Magic recently announced that the Titan 16 Pro laptop will now be shipping out to international markets, after its initial launch within the Chinese market earlier in July. The international version of the laptop will be called the Eclipse and like its Chinese counterpart, it features an all-metal chassis with dust-proof and anti-static components.
Beneath the hood, the Eclipse features an Intel Core i9-14900H processor, an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Further, it boasts a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 500 nits. It offers full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space, a 3ms response time, and G-Sync support.
Moving on, the laptop’s cooling system features three fans, seven heat pipes, and a liquid metal design with dual turbo fans spinning at 4,500 RPM and liquid crystal polymer blades to prevent thermal throttling. It supports dual displays and offers performance modes to optimise CPU and GPU usage, backed by an 80Wh battery and 100W fast charging.
Additional functionalities include Red Magic Game Space and the Goper App for fine-tuning and peripheral customization, as well as switching between integrated and discrete graphics. It also has connectivity options such as USB-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 6E, plus an IR camera for Windows Hello biometric authentication.
The laptop will be available on 29 August 2024 on Red Magic’s online store with a price tag of US$1,699 (~RM7,435) with colour options in White and Black. At the time of writing, there is no word on local availability or pricing.
