OnePlus has revealed its latest pair of Pro earbuds with the Buds Pro 3. The new buds bring an improved audio setup as well as active noise cancellation, along with tuning by Danish loudspeaker maker Dynaudio.
The Buds Pro 3 is equipped with an 11mm woofer and 6mm tweeter in each bud just like its predecessor, but the new model introduces a built-in dual DAC system, with one feeding the woofer and another dedicated to the tweeter. Additionally, the buds come with an adaptive ANC that cancels out up to 50dB of noise, along with a Voice Pick Up (VPU) bone sensor for better call clarity.
As for the battery life, the brand claims that the Buds Pro 3 can last up to 10 hours without ANC and six hours with ANC enabled, with a total usage time of 43 hours with the charging case, which is a notable improvement compared to the Buds Pro 2. On the connectivity side, the buds have Bluetooth 5.4 with support for LHDC 5.0, AAC, Fast Pair, and spatial audio.
The Buds Pro 3 comes in two colour options and retail for US$180 (~RM786). It is still unknown when the earbuds will be available here, but they should be coming here soon as the new buds are already listed on the brand’s Malaysian website.
