Final Fantasy XVI was released last year on PlayStation, and PC gamers will finally be able to experience the game in about a month’s time. Though unlike recent PC ports, this will not only exist as a single package complete with all its DLCs.
On Steam, the Final Fantasy XVI shows an unlock date of 18 September, and an asking price of RM209. But this is probably not the one you’d want to buy, as there is another Complete Edition, priced at RM299 that comes with both DLCs that the game got over the course of a year. In case you missed it, they are named The Rising Tide and Echoes of the Fallen.
For what it’s worth, there is a demo of Final Fantasy XVI that you can try out before deciding if you want to commit the money that the game asks for. Progress made here can also be carried over to the full game once you decide to bite the bullet, so there’s no harm in giving it a go if you’ve been curious about it.
All three of these options of playing Final Fantasy XVI is also available on the Epic Games Store, with the same prices and availability date as well. So if that’s your preferred PC platform for whatever reason, you’re not being left out.
