Infinix recently launched its first ever tablet, the XPAD, and it was expected to come to Malaysia soon due to its SIRIM listing. However, despite the fact that no local launch date has been announced yet, several retailers have already started listing the device along with the upcoming Zero 40, revealing its pricing and specs.
The XPAD will be available in Malaysia in two configurations, one with only Wi-Fi support as well as an LTE model. It is fitted with an 11-inch 1080p LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 440 nits. Underneath the chassis, the tablet runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 256GB of expandable storage alongside 4GB of RAM for the Wi-Fi variant and 8GB for the 4G variant.
On the imaging side, the entry-level tablet is equipped with 8MP cameras for the rear and front. Powering it is a 7,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. As for the software, it ships with XOS 14 based on Android 14.
The XPAD will retail with a starting price of RM699 for the Wi-Fi model and RM899 for the cellular model, with a total of three colour options. As of writing, the Malaysian launch date is still unknown, but we can expect it to happen soon.
