Last month, OnePlus introduced the Nord 4 in India, its newest mid-range smartphone. While no official confirmation has been regarding its availability in Malaysia, we recently found that the phone has received SIRIM approval, indicating that its local launch is nearing.
The Nord 4 was listed in the SIRIM database earlier this week on 14 August 2024 with the model number CPH2663. Moreover, the phone has been listed on the brand’s Malaysian website with all three colourways. As for the configurations, the website lists 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB options.
As for the specs, the Nord 4 sports a 6.74-inch 2772 x 1240 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and a local peak brightness of 2,150 nits. The mid-ranger runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset and protection-wise, it comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the optics front, the phone features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP selfie sensor. It ships with AI photo editing features such as AI Best Face and AI Clear Face, along with other AI tools including AI Audio Summary and AI Note Summary. Powering it is a large 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W charging.
