There have been a number of rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE already, including one earlier this week involving its spec sheet. More recently, a report claims to know of a release window for the phone, as well as that of another more affordable model.
ETNews reports the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be released globally sometime in the second half of the year. Which is not especially helpful seeing as we’re already halfway through the third quarter. Fortunately the report mentions a more specific window of October which, is no exact date, certainly beats a whole half of a year.
The rest of the report corroborates the aforementioned spec sheet leak of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. But to quickly go over what was mentioned, there was the 6.7-inch 120Hz Full HD+ screen, the Exynos 2400e chipset, 50MP main+ 12MP wide-angle + 8MP 3x telephoto camera combo and a 10MP front facing shooter.
Interestingly, while the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is no doubt the focus of the report, it also makes mention of a Galaxy A16. There is a mention of a December release window, but virtually nothing else about this entry-level device has been shared. At any rate, both of these release windows should be taken with a healthy dose of salt.
