Imoo, a subsidiary under BBK Electronics, has released its latest production of earbuds called Openbuds E5. If you weren’t aware of Imoo yet, it’s a company specialising in manufacturing user-friendly devices catered to kids and young adults.
The Openbuds E5 has an odd, if not somewhat interesting shape, designed to avoid direct contact with the eardrum. To be specific, it’s almost shaped like a hearing aid, with a hint of an earring-like design. The earbuds also have a lightweight build at 4.9g per each earbud, as well as an adjustable clip that acts as a stabiliser within a person’s ear for long-term usage.
As for the interiors, the device can hold up to 30 hours of listening time from a single charge while periodically maintaining it within its charging case. The device is water resistant with an IPX4 rating and it has ENC noise reduction to ensure voice calling clarity.
While it retains the conventional Bluetooth connectivity, it consists of a magnetic mechanism to ensure its hold within its case. It also has light tap controls to trigger pausing or playing music, skipping to the next song, as well as answering or ending calls.
You can purchase the earbuds now through Oppo’s online Malaysian store that’s available for RM399. At the time of writing, the accessory is only available in one colour, white.
