Samsung is showcasing what it’s like to live in a home powered by smart devices with its first Bespoke AI Home show unit. The showcase is located at The Camellia, which is in Gamuda Cove’s Wetlands Estates precinct.
Visitors can experience the full force of the brand’s SmartThings IoT ecosystem, which are all connected to each other and can be controlled using either voice commands through Bixby or through a control panel on the wall. Aside from the usual appliances such as smart TVs and speakers, there are also smart curtains, lights, robot vacuums, washing machines, and more.
To start with, you can see The Frame, which is a large TV that’s equipped with customisable frames so that when you’re not using it, it can double as an art display. It comes in 55-inch and 75-inch sizes priced at RM6,199 and RM12,399 respectively.
Another “Frame” smart product in the catalogue is the Music Frame, which is literally a regular picture frame with a wireless speaker on the back with a price tag of RM1,999. The smart TV can also be paired with the Lifestyle Soundbar that costs RM2,999.
Other Bespoke AI Home appliances include a very quiet WindFree Air Conditioner that retails from RM2,439 to RM4,999, a Jet Bot Combo Steam robot vacuum that costs RM8,299, a smart air purifier that you can get for RM2,199, and a AI-powered washer and dryer combo for RM4,799 and RM4,699 respectively.
In the kitchen, Samsung offers a large 661L refrigerator with what is essentially a tablet that is fitted with recipe apps and a camera that lets you look inside the fridge without opening it, with a RM9,399 price tag. For cooking, there is a smart convection over that can steam, air fry, bake, grill and more, costing RM1,959. Last but not least, the brand offers the Bespoke AirDresser JetSteam, which sanitises your clothes and is equipped with a mirror.
As previously mentioned, everything in the SmartThings system can be controlled by Bixby. You can even set certain profiles with presets for lighting, curtain position, and more. The entire Bespoke AI Home lineup is available in three packages, ranging from RM30,599 for the Essentials package, RM47,199 for Platinum, and RM75,999 for Diamond.
