realme has released yet another C-series smartphone called the C63 5G. As you can tell from the name, it is a 5G-enabled version of the C63 that was launched a couple of months ago. It gets a different design with a smaller but improved display as well as a much more capable processor.
The C63 5G rocks a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 625 nits. The teardrop notch on the 4G variant has been replaced with a punch-hole cutout. Under the hood, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 128GB of expandable storage and up to 8GB of RAM.
On the optics front, the phone is equipped with a 32MP shooter alongside a depth sensor on the back, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. Oddly enough, powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for much slower 10W charging, which is a significant downgrade compared to the 45W charging speed of the 4G model. Protection-wise, it comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The C63 5G comes in two colour options and retails with a starting price of INR10,999 (~RM580) in India. As of now, there is no word on whether the phone will be made available in other markets.
