Infinix has quietly unveiled the XPAD, its first ever Android tablet. The tablet seems to be in the entry-level segment with a lower-end MediaTek processor, but it still comes with a metal unibody design as well as its own AI voice assistant powered by ChatGPT called Folax.
The tablet sports an 11-inch 1920×1200 LCD display with uniform bezels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a peak brightness of 440 nits. Under the hood, it rocks a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. On the software side, it ships with XOS 14 based on Android 14.
For imaging, it is equipped with two 8MP cameras with one on the back and one up front. The entry-level tablet is powered by a 7,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging, which the brand claims can charge it up to 50% in 40 minutes.
The XPAD comes in three colour options and two memory configurations but as of writing, no details have been released yet about its pricing or availability. Excitingly, the tablet has already been listed on the SIRIM database, which indicates that the device will hit the Malaysian market sometime soon.
