ASUS officially launched its latest ProArt line of laptops in the country, both powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI mobile processors. In total, the lineup comprises two models, the PX13 and the P16.
Starting with the ProArt PX13, the laptop is basically a carbon copy of ASUS’ gaming-grade ROG Flow X13, which first launched back in 2021. To that end, the laptop is a convertible, having the ability to transform from its conventional “laptop” mode and into a tablet mode, simply by rotating the display a full 360°.
Beneath the hood, the ProArt PX13 houses a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mobile processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and a 73Whr 4-cell battery. The display is a 13.3-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800) touchscreen panel, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. For ports, you get a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, two USB4 ports, an HDMI port, one 3.5mm audio combo jack, and a MicroSD 4.0 card reader.
The ProArt PX13 retails at an SRP of RM9,999.
Moving on to the P16, the laptop is yet again another mimic of an existing ASUS product, with this model taking its skin from the ROG Zephyrus G16. Like the PX13, this machine is also powered by the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, but comes with a beefier RTX 4070 discrete GPU instead of an RTX 4060. Other specifications include 32GB LPDDR5X, 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and a 90Whr battery.
Of course, the display of the ProArt P16 is bigger, measuring at 16-inch. Additionally, it has a maximum resolution of of 4K (3,840 x 2,400), a 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, a HDR peak brightness of 500 nits, and is a touchscreen. Ports-wise, you’re looking at a USB4 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, a couple of USB-A 3.2 Gen2 port, an HDMI port, one 3.5mm audio combo jack, and an SD Express 7.0 Card reader.
