A new leak has left little to the imagination regarding Samsung’s allegedly Fan Edition (FE) variant of its Galaxy S24 flagships. Revealed are promotional materials and specifications of the upcoming model, courtesy of Android Headlines.
Corroborating with past rumours, the leak reveals that the Galaxy S24 FE will sport a similar design to the rest of the 2024 Samsung flagship line-up. Like its predecessor, the device will fall in between the base and Plus model in terms of size, featuring a 6.7-inch display. The screen is said to have FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,900 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
Under its hood is said to be an Exynos 2400e chipset, though its memory configurations are still not known at this time. Android Headlines adds that the Galaxy S24 FE will come with One UI 6.1.1 out of the box, as well as Galaxy AI features such as Generative Edit, Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate.
As for imaging, the phone will allegedly be equipped with a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, while housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display is a 10MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, its battery is said to come with a capacity of 4,565mAh. Other than that, the leaked promotional materials reveal that the Galaxy S24 FE will be available in graphite, blue, silver/white, green, and yellow, with two more colour options offered exclusively via Samsung’s official website.
The release date is still a mystery for now, but for what it’s worth; GSMArena reports that the device’s support page recently went live on the brand’s France website, which may indicate that a launch could happen very soon. However, the page has been taken down at the time of writing this article.
