The fourth generation iPhone SE will have Apple Intelligence integrated as early as 2025, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. With the AI suite slated to be integrated on current-gen iPhones and potentially the upcoming iPhone 16 line-up later in fall, this is supposedly going to be Apple’s only budget-friendly product that supports it.
According Gurman’s latest “Power On” Newsletter, the iPhone SE 4 will feature a chassis that’s based on the iPhone 14, moving away from the iPhone 8’s body and home-button. It’s also claimed that the phone will sport a 6.1-inch OLED display screen, corroborating a previous leak by 91Mobiles.
Speaking of which, the site also claims that the fourth-gen iPhone SE will feature a notch to house Apple’s TrueDepth camera system, and will be the first SE model to feature Face ID authentication. Other modern touches to be expectedly added is a USB-C port, which replaces the now-discontinued Lightning connector that’s featured on the original iPhone 14 series.
Even with the AI suite incorporated, there’s a possibility of the device costing only about US$500 (~RM2,219). Gurman did not say when the iPhone SE 4 will be released, but earlier rumours are suggesting that it may debut sometime next year.
