TIME Internet has announced that it is making WiFi 7 technology available to its Home Fibre customers. Through a new promotion, the ISP is now offering WiFi 7 supported devices along with its existing internet plans, making it the first provider in Malaysia to do so.
WiFi 7 is promised to provide faster speeds, greater capacity, and improved stability. According to TIME, new subscribers to selected plans will receive a WiFi 7 router for free, while existing users can purchase it as an upgrade.
Interestingly, the free device promo only offered together with the 600Mbps and 1Gbps options, while the 200Mbps and 2Gbps packages are excluded. Keep in mind that a 24-month contract also applies.
Meanwhile, existing subscribers have the option to upgrade their routers to the WiFi 7 version for just RM19 per month through Self Care. TIME adds that new 200Mbps customers can also upgrade their device to WiFi 7 for RM99.
