OPPO has officially unveiled the A3x, its latest entry-level smartphone under the A series. A cheaper variant of the A3 Pro, the phone comes with an affordable price tag along with a MediaTek processor and fast charging.
The A3x sports a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and Panda glass for protection. Adding to its durability, the device comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance as well as an MIL-STD 810H military-grade rating for shock resistance. Under the hood, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
On the imaging side, the A3 Pro features a simple setup using a single 8MP sensor on the back while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera. Powering it is a 5,100mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The A3 Pro comes in three colour options and retails at a starting price of INR13,499 (~RM717) in India. There is no word yet on when the phone will come to Malaysia, but we can expect it here soon given that it has been listed on SIRIM.
