realme has added another smartphone to the 13 series in Indonesia with the 13 4G, before the 5G vanilla variant has even been unveiled. Despite its affordable price tag, it offers some respectable specs including fast charging and a decent screen.
The 13 4G sports a 6.67-inch 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, an under-display fingerprint scanner that doubles as a heart rate monitor, and a Rain Water Touch feature, which supposedly lets you use the phone even when the screen is wet. Inside, the entry-level device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.
On the imaging side, the phone comes equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS alongside a 2MP depth sensor and a 16MP lens for selfies up front. Backing it is 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W charging. For protection, it comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
The 13 4G starts from IDR2,999,000 (~RM838) for the base model, coming in two colour options. It is currently unknown if it will becoming to Malaysia, but the upcoming 5G variant has already been certified by SIRIM while the Pro series is confirmed to be landing here soon.
