Infinix is gearing up to launch its first ever Android tablet called the XPAD and it seems that it might be coming to Malaysia. The upcoming device has been certified by SIRIM not once, but twice, with two models under the same name, hinting that there could possibly be two variants up for sale.
The XPAD was listed on SIRIM with the model numbers X1101 and X1101B on 24 July and 30 July 2024 respectively. Nothing about the tablet has been officially revealed yet, but there have already been extensive leaks on the specs and design of the device. According to rumours, it might make its debut in India soon, along with other X series products.
A report by Android Arena claims that the entry-level tablet will sport an 11-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and ship with XOS based on Android 14. Under the hood, it will purportedly run on a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.
The leak also said that the XPAD will be powered by a 7,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. On the imaging side, it is said to feature a 12MP and an 8MP sensor on the back, while the front will house an 8MP camera.
