HONOR is likely to bring the Magic V3 to our shores soon, given that the phone has already received SIRIM certification. Moreover, the brand also announced a new beta programme for a select few Malaysian users to experience the new foldable phone before its local launch.
The Magic V3 was listed on SIRIM on 29 July 2024 with the model number FCP-N49. As for the beta programme, you can sign up on its website and see if you can be one of the 20 picked to participate. While the arrival of the foldable is highly anticipated, there is no official launch date for Malaysia yet and the beta programme is running until October, so we will have to wait for any updates.
The latest foldable from the brand was unveiled just last month, coming with an even slimmer and lighter body than its predecessor with a width of only 9.2mm when unfolded. It features a 7.92-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED inner display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits while the cover screen uses a 6.43-inch 120Hz OLED panel with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
Powering the flagship is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset along with a 5,150mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the imaging side, it packs a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide shooter.
