Motorola has introduced the Edge 50 smartphone in India today. It is the base model of a family that were previously introduced in the country, consisting of an Ultra, Pro, and Fusion models. It’s also worth noting that this particular variant is the only member to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (AE) chipset.
The Motorola Edge 50 has a 6.7-inch OLED curved display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 1600 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Additionally, it features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP68 dust/water resistance, and is MIL-STD-810H compliant. According to Motorola, the phone can endure electrical shocks, thermal vibrations, and accidental drops.
