realme has officially announced the arrival of its newest budget smartphone, the C61. The phone was unveiled back in June and last month, several distributors actually jumped the gun and revealed the price before its local launch.
That being said, it seems that the Malaysian version is slightly different than the one launched in India. For one thing, it gets a slightly larger 6.75-inch 720p LCD display, which has a peak brightness of 560 nits as well as a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the affordable device runs on a Unisoc T612 chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Additionally, it has a customisable dynamic button on the side.
As for photography, the C61 feature a 50MP main camera alongside a depth sensor, while the front shooter houses a 5MP shooter. Backing it is a 5,000mAh cell with 15W charging. On the durability side of things, the phone comes with an IP54 rating along with drop resistance.
The C61 is offered in two colour options at RM499. To back up its confidence in the phone’s durability, the company is offering a two-year 1-to-1 replacement guarantee. It can be purchased through the brand’s Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores starting from 3 August.
