As promised, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has been officially unveiled. And with the reveal comes confirmation of the specs that was previously leaked. Most of them look to be accurate, minus the memory choice, as it looks like there won’t be any.
According to the official spec sheet, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus comes with a 6.7 AMOLED display that’s technically Full HD+, or more specifically, a 1,084 x 2,412 resolution. The leaks were pretty spot on with the 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, but the official spec sheet also mentions a 240 touch sampling rate. The chipset being a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 is no surprise, and the same can be said for the sole 256GB storage capacity, but RAM only comes in 12GB.
Other bits of the leaked spec sheet that match the official one include the 5,000mAh battery, and its support for 50W charging. The cameras are no surprise either, following the official teaser yesterday, but the launch confirms that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has a 50MP main + 50MP wide angle camera pair at the back, and a 50MP secondary shooter in a punch hole cutout.
As part of the unveiling though, the company only announced the price and availability of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus in the UK and US. The community post notes that “further market availability and pricing will be announced in September”, which is a bit unfortunate. For what it’s worth, it has a US$399 (~RM1833) price tag.
