It’s been a long while since realme released a smartwatch, with the last being the realme Watch 3 line-up back in 2022. Now, the company has finally unveiled a new model, the Watch S2, which launched alongside the realme 13 Pro series yesterday.
A sequel to the original realme Watch S from four years prior, the new wearable offers a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and a steel case that’s available in Black, Grey and Silver, with a choice of silicone or steel bands. It is rated at IP68 in terms of dust and water resistance, and is said to be able to withstand waters at a depth of five metres, as well as temperatures of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
The Watch S2 also offers over 150 watch faces, more than 110 sports modes, comprehensive sports and health monitoring, on-device music storage, and AI-powered enhancements. realme says the wearable is capable of lasting up to 20 days on a single charge from its 380mAh battery.
The new realme Watch S2 is now available in India, priced at INR9,999 (~RM552) for the Grey steel model and INR7,999 (~RM442) for the Black and Silver options. There’s no word on whether it will be released in other markets at this time.
