Samsung is considering launching the beta version of the Android 15 – One UI 7.0 sometime soon between late July and early August. Assuming all goes well, Ice claims that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first to trial the operating system update.
One UI 7 Beta will start from the end of July or early August, if there are no accidents.

According to Ice Universe, the update supposedly will introduce newer developments, such as enhanced and smoother animations akin to Samsung’s ColorOS, alongside other software improvements. Once it’s finally revealed, it will be available for other Galaxy devices.
The timeline represents a significant jump ahead for Samsung, compared to last year when the beta version of Android 14 (One UI 6) debuted on Galaxy S23 devices on October 30 2023. If the information from Ice is true and Samsung pushes the update out before July ends, it could be as much as two weeks ahead of schedule.
Regarding the general release of the Android 15 update to the public, this actually aligns well with Google’s anticipated mid-August release of its new lineup of Pixel devices, suggesting that the Android 15 launch may overall be available for update sooner than later.
It’s important to note that Ice had previously suggested in June that One UI 7 wouldn’t arrive very early this year due to the focus on One UI 6.1.1 and the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but plans may have evolved since then.
