Yoodo has announced a little bonus for its users as the CelcomDigi sub-brand prepares to shut down its operations. Customers who open the app today will get a notice informing them that the MVNO is giving all its remaining users up to 10GB of free data, provided you are still using their service.
According to the notice, customers will be getting 5GB of free data today, 24 July, and another 5GB on 26 August 2024, which is just a few days before the brand is set to wind down. The Yoodo brand will cease to exist from 29 August 2024, following CelcomDigi’s failure to secure a buyer within 18 months of its merger.
With the impending shut down, its users are left with three options. They can choose to stay and have their current plan automatically be migrated to CelcomDigi’s platform, port out to a different telco, or terminate their active lines entirely.
Those who choose to migrate to CelcomDigi can keep using their credit balance from Yoodo, but for those who are porting out or terminating your line, you can get a refund of any remaining credits by filling out the refund form between 1 July to 29 August 2024. For any enquiries, you can contact Yoodo through WhatsApp (+6011-5622 2222) or its live chat on its website.
