OPPO is gearing up to launch at least two new phones within the A-series soon, namely the A3 and A3x. The former has already been unveiled in China while the latter, which is still unreleased, seems to share several specs with the Pro model. Both phones are likely to make their way to the Malaysian market soon.
The A3 was given the model number CPH2669 while the A3x is under the model number CPH2641, with the phones receiving certification from SIRIM on 22 July 2024 and 12 July 2024 respectively. According to rumours, the A3x might be revealed at the end of this month.
As for the specs, the A3 sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. For imaging, it carries a 50MP main camera and a depth sensor.
While nothing about A3x has been officially revealed, several leaks claim that it will feature a 120Hz display with a 1,000-nit peak brightness. It will purportedly be equipped with the same MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip as the global version of the Pro, also powered by a 5,000mAh cell with 45W charging.
