Leaks have claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 line is currently scheduled for a reveal in October, even if no specific date has been mentioned in the rumour mill just yet. Also being whispered is the possibility of the tablet family to sport a MediaTek Dimensity chip rather than one from Qualcomm. In a recent listing, it looks like the tablet is favouring the former over the latter.
An entry in the Geekbench database points to a device by the South Korean tech giant, codenamed SM-X926B, to be equipped with an item with a GTS10U motherboard. A separate entry points to another device, this time with the designation SM-X828U with the same. GSMArena claims that the element that the two have in common is a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, with the two tablets being the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Plus, respectively.
The report also mentions that this year’s lineup for the brand’s flagship tablet will not include a base model, citing a JoongAng report from earlier in the month. It’s unclear if there will be any market-specific variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10, be it the Plus or Ultra, to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
Going back to the two listings, both show the presumed Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Ultra running 12GB of RAM. Like everything else mentioned above, it may be awhile before the company confirms any of this with an official launch.
