HONOR is set to launch yet another mid-range smartphone called the 200 Lite. It will be the third device in the 200 series and while the company has confirmed that the phone will be arriving in Malaysia soon, it has yet to announce the actual launch date for it.
That being said, one of its stores has revealed the retail price of the 200 Lite ahead of its arrival. According to the brand’s experience store in Sunway Putra Mall, the mid-ranger will be landing in Malaysia with a price tag of RM1,299, with a single configuration made up of 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The phone sports a 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a global peak brightness of 1,200 nits, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for HDR content, and, oddly enough, a mere 90Hz refresh rate despite it being priced over the RM1,000 mark. Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset while externally, it comes with drop resistance as well as a one-year front and back crack replacement guarantee.
On the imaging side, it features a 108MP main camera alongside a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens, while the display houses a 50MP front snapper. Powering the smartphone is a 4,500mAh battery with support for 35W charging.
