OnePlus has officially unveiled the Nord 4, the latest addition to its mid-ranger lineup. The phone swaps out the MediaTek processor from its predecessor with one from Qualcomm, as well as giving it a brighter screen, a bigger battery, faster charging, and an all-metal body design.
The display size stayed the same at 6.74-inches with an AMOLED panel, a 2772×1240 resolution, and a peak brightness of 2,150 nits. Internally, the mid-range smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, but of course, the configurations offered will vary depending on the market.
On the imaging side, the mid-ranger gets a 50MP main camera as well as an 8MP ultra-wide lens, but the 2MP macro lens from the Nord 3 has been scrapped. Up front, the display houses the same 16MP selfie shooter. When it comes to the battery, it is backed by a larger 5,500mAh cell with support for 100W fast charging. Additionally, it gets an IP65 rating along with AI features such as AI Audio Summary, AI Note Summary, AI Groupfie, and AI Linkboost.
The Nord 4 will retail with a starting price of INR32,999 (~RM1,721) for the base 8GB+256GB variant. It is unknown when the phone will arrive in Malaysia, but we can assume that the brand will be releasing it here soon given that it has already been listed on OnePlus’ Malaysian website.
