Astro has announced that subscribers to its service will be getting access to “comprehensive live coverage” of the Paris 2024 Olympics happening between 24 July and 12 August. This comes in the form of 16 dedicated channels, plus two Arena channels what will be opened up to all paying customers of the service.
According to the announcement, subscribers will be getting complimentary access to channels 780 through 795, all dedicated channels providing English commentary on the Paris 2024 Olympics events. That being said, channels 790 onwards will only be available via Astro GO. Alternatively, Astro Arena (channels 801 and 802) also provide commentary and coverage, but in BM instead.
Similarly, the company says that sooka subscribers with a subscription plan of RM13.90 or more will also be getting access to the aforementioned 16 channels on any mobile device. To watch them on TV, you’ll need to be subscribed to the Premium plan instead, which ranges from RM29.60 to RM47.10 a month.
And finally, NJOI subscribers with an active Starter Pack will get access to 10 of the dedicated Paris 2024 Olympics channels, specifically those between 780 and 789. One notable clause here is that the HD Pack, specifically has been excluded from the offer.
Probably worth noting at this point that Unifi TV is offering the same, with the added bonus of not needing you to be a subscriber to watch the games. Either way, you can find out more by heading to the announcement page, linked below.
