Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, recently confirmed that the Mix Fold 4 will be arriving this month and more specifically, on 19 July. The bad news is that the phone launch isn’t global, and will only be in China right now.

Other specifications confirmed by Xiaomi about the Mix Fold 4 include an IPX8 rating, 50W wireless charging, and support for two-way satellite communication. As for the main camera, the module is expectedly co-engineered with Leica, is a Summilux quad-camera, has a 5x periscope lens, and dual telephoto and macro parts. The camera portions at least matches up with some of the details in an earlier report.
In addition to the Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi’s CEO also announced that the Mix Flip 4, a direct competitor to Samsung’s own clamshell Galaxy Z Flip6, will also be launching this month, but didn’t say when exactly. Also, the brand says that on the day the Fold 4 launches, it will also unveil the Smart Band 9 and Redmi K70 Ultra.
