Late last month, Logitech G brought the G515 Lightspeed keyboard to the local market. Then last week saw the launch of the Logitech G309 Lightspeed mouse instead, but at the time it did not have a Malaysian price. That has changed recently, with the mouse now available for purchase locally.
If you need a refresher, the Logitech G309 Lightspeed is a AA battery-powered gaming mouse, with a claimed battery life of over 300 hours. The need for the battery can be sidestepped if you happen to have the company’s PowerPlay mouse mat, for what it’s worth. It also supports dual-wireless connectivity, and when switching to Bluetooth, you can just about double the aforementioned battery life figure, though this is probably reserved for non-gaming purposes.
Speaking of which, the dongle of the Logitech G309 Lightspeed can allow for another device to share its connection, with an obvious example being the aforementioned G515 keyboard. The mouse also sports the brand’s 25K sensor, or 25,600 DPI if that’s your preferred metric, with a 1ms polling rate. Finally, the mouse also features the Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switches, for the former’s actuation speed and the latter’s tactile feedback.
Now that the Logitech G309 Lightspeed is available locally, you can get it for a price of RM349. In the box, you’ll find a USB cable extender, grip stickers and a single AA battery, in addition to the mouse itself and its dongle. You can pick one up off of shelves, or via the brand’s official stores on Shopee or Lazada, linked below.
