CPUID, the group and creator of hardware monitoring software such as CPU-Z and GPU-Z, appears to have received some specifics about Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake-S desktop CPUs and Lunar Lake mobile processors. To put it simply, it may have confirmed the total number of SKUs for both segments.
Starting with Arrow Lake-S, it looks like Intel will have no less than six SKUs at launch, with the flagship designated as the Core Ultra 9 285K. Their designations are as follows:
- Core Ultra 9 285K
- Core Ultra 9 275
- Core Ultra 7 265K
- Core Ultra 7 255
- Core Ultra 5 245K
- Core Ultra 5 240
In typical Intel fashion, the non-K SKUs will lack the ability to be overclocked. On that note, it’s interesting that there are no “KF” variants, a moniker that the chipmaker has used for the past three generations to indicate that, while overclockable, these models lack integrated graphics.
The CPUID database also included eight Lunar Lake SKUs, which also serves as an early notice for us, as we’ve technically been wondering what and how many models of the new mobile processor Intel plans on releasing. The list is as follows:
- Core Ultra 9 288V
- Core Ultra 7 268V
- Core Ultra 7 266V
- Core Ultra 7 258V
- Core Ultra 7 256V
- Core Ultra 5 236V
- Core Ultra 5 228V
- Core Ultra 5 226V
Intel’s Arrow Lake is expected to launch this October, while the Lunar Lake-powered laptops should be arriving in our laps in September.
