Hong Leong Bank has announced that its HLB Connect app has gotten a fresh new look, via its official account on X, previously Twitter. The user interface revamp also comes with a few improvements to existing features as well.
With the new look, the HLB Connect app now shows promo offers and rewards near the middle of the screen. But probably more important than those is that commonly use banking app functionalities like fund transfers and QR payments are now easily accessible via the drawer at the bottom of the home screen. Also located in the drawer are the ATM withdrawal and emergency lock, which may not be as commonly used, but you’d likely appreciate the ease of access when they are unfortunately needed.
A bell icon on the top left corner is where you get notified of transactions, if you need a reference beyond the usual notification popups. You can also look at these in the Activities page once logged into the HLB Connect app proper. From this point, you also get an overview of all the accounts you have access to and the balance in each, as well as credit card expenditures if applicable. You’ll also be able to apply for banking products via a dedicated page from here.
Say hello to the new face of HLB Connect App! Update or download today for an enhanced banking experience.

Other improvements to the HLB Connect app, as mentioned above, include the option to log in using a registered fingerprint or facial recognition. There’s also a built-in currency converter with what is claimed to be “competitive exchange rates”. If you’re a user of the app, you can get all these features by updating the app when it becomes available.
