JBL has announced that it currently has its Heart of Sound Roadshow ongoing, currently happening at the Old Wing Concourse of the 1 Utama shopping centre. As part of the roadshow, the company has launched five new audio products, consisting of three portable speakers, a TWS earbuds and a new headphone glasses hybrid.

Starting with the JBL Live Beam 3 TWS buds, the company dubs this as the mid-range version of the Tour Pro 2. Fittingly, it shares its gimmick of having a 1.45-inch touchscreen in front of buds’ carrying case. Said screen can be an alternative method of controlling playback, as well as switching equaliser and noise cancelling presets. You can also use it as a torchlight in an emergency, as well as set a wallpaper when not in use. Together with said case, it provides a total of 48 hours of playback time. This is priced at RM999.

Moving on to probably the most interesting item in the lineup, the JBL Soundgear Frames. It’s one of those glasses and headphones hybrid, with all of the benefits and detriments that comes with it. One additional plus point though, as the brand points out, you can swap out the pre-attached sunglass lenses with prescription lenses. But on the flip side, each of the frame arm has a USB-C port, and both have to be charged independently. For what it’s worth, a USB-C splitter does come in the box, so you use only one port on your power brick when you charge it. At any rate, the Soundgear Frames comes with a RM999 price tag.

Finally, JBL also refreshed three of its portable speaker lines, with the introduction of the Clip 5, Go 4 and Xtreme 4. The first two are fairly affordable, being priced at RM349 and RM299 respectively, while the latter, being much larger, comes in at a premium, costing RM1,799. Despite the sound and output differences, they all have two things in common. One is an IP67 rating, and the other is support for Bluetooth Auracast, allowing them to be daisychained to each other.

Being launched as part of the JBL Heart of Sound Roadshow at the 1 Utama Old Wing Concourse, all five of them are available. The roadshow itself is ongoing until 7 July. Beyond that, or if you just want to find out more about these products, you can find out more from the brand’s official site, linked here.
